Herringbone, Zigzag, Chevron

I tend to use these words interchangably, but there really is a difference.

  6. Just ordered a herringbone purse skirt from 31 gifts and was eyeing up some other stuff from them too! Love Herringbone, probably more than chevron. I would love to do a tile backsplash in herringbone. Thanks for sharing the inspiration pics! Have a great weekend Rachel!

  7. I have always adored herringbone floors...we used it on our front walk way in brick. Thank you for pointing out the difference between chevron and herringbone...I never really stopped to consider the difference...your image cleared it right up! I love it all...but especially herringbone wood floors...too die for!

  17. Oh my goodness, YES! I love the herringbone pattern in hardwood floors...hardwood floors are so beautiful to begin with, so adding a gorgeous pattern just makes them all the more lovely!

  18. Herringbone has taken over...in fabric, wallpaper and floors. It just adds interest to a room. I just specked a black splash for a client in herringbone yesterday!
